Have you tried FAVRD yet? It’s basically a web-based application that displays the most favorited Tweets in the system. I’ve been using it to delve into interesting minds and to find people to follow.

Try this… go to a trendy coffee shop, where the geeks hang out with their laptops. Say funny, witty, or off the wall stuff…

Then search twitter to see if people overhear you.
Or, you could just try “overhearing” yourself, but don’t do that too much in the same cofee shop. People will wonder why you talk to yourself!
