With only one month down, I have already achieved some of my goals I set out for TailgatingIdeas.com. The biggest goal was achieved in January. That one: Get quoted in a newspaper or TV story as an expert on tailgating happened three times over where I was mentioned in three different newspapers and appeared on a radio show as a guest. Also, 1/4 of one my goals was reached last month All four advertising blocks on the home page taken by direct advertisers. One of those blocks was taken last month so hopefully the other three will sell out before 2009. I am staying on schedule with my publishing calendar and look to meet that one by year’s end as well.

My 2008 goals were for subscriber numbers. Although the numbers have gone up, I’m not on pace to hit my first goal of 500 by spring but there’s still a lot of time left
